Chapman Coyle Chapman Architects was founded in 1969 and has provided master planning, design, and architectural services for projects throughout the United States and abroad for forty years. Based in Atlanta, the firm focuses on themes to bring a sense of time honored richness of history into buildings with the latest advances in construction technology.

Chapman Coyle Chapman Architects can best be characterized as "hospitality and institutional architects," with an established reputation as award-winning designers of resorts, luxury hotels, private golf and tennis country clubs, convention centers, conference centers, private primary, secondary, and college facilities and churches. In addition, the firm's highly-respected, diversified background of professional practice also includes: performing and visual arts centers, recreational facilities, and complimentary structures. With broad experience in the programming, master planning, and design of both urban and suburban environments, Chapman Coyle Chapman creates vital, responsive, and memorable solutions.

The firm has also established a national reputation for its work in historical renovation and restoration of both private membership facilities, commercial, educational buildings, and religious facilities. Not only have important old buildings been saved and restored to attractive respectability, but by being sensitively reworked for existing and new uses, they have entered a new life cycle of cultural importance and economic vitality for their new owners, neighborhoods, and cities. Our unique one-of-a-kind projects balance and coordinate both economics and design features to reach a successful conclusion.

Chapman Coyle Chapman is recognized for its proven capabilities in productive innovative solutions - delivered on time and within budget. The firms only specialty is custom design - creating aesthetically-pleasing and functionally-efficient structures and environments to satisfy each client's particular tastes and requirements. In a sense, the buildings market themselves with this "value-added" quality inherent to the design. Perhaps the greatest significance, our projects save and even make money for our clients - in terms of being operationally-efficient to keep overhead and maintenance costs down. in short, we know how to design buildings that work.

Sensitivity to design in traditional elements has attracted clients to the firm who wish to express through their facilities a sense of timelessness. In doing so, carefully crafted details suggest the appearance of a cherished period in history. This design goal motivates rapid acceptance of a project into its intended use.

Chapman Coyle Chapman has designed multi-purpose convention and conference centers for a number of southeastern cities including Knoxville and Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and four within the greater Metropolitan Atlanta Area. In addition, our cultural and performing arts design teams have designed numerous theaters and concert halls in the Metro Atlanta Area for both public and private institutional clients.

For over 40 years, Chapman Coyle Chapman has been constantly re-evaluating and improving the way we approach the design of private educational buildings. Working on over 50 different educational projects with educators and school administrators intent on creating quality educational environments has given Chapman Coyle Chapman valuable insight into what makes an educational building successful. By applying our abilities and experiences in phased construction and fast-track design, developed through our private sector commercial products, we have been able to facilitate innovative, exciting building design within otherwise unrealistic time frames and budgets.
