Wesleyan School is an independent Christian school serving elementary, middle and high school students. Wesleyan was established in 1963 as an integral part of the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church. Originally known as Wesleyan Day School, Wesleyan began as a preschool that was expanded to include an elementary school and a middle school. With the addition of the high school, Wesleyan required a new campus to continue its desired expansion. Following the divestiture from the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church in the summer of 1996, the school was relocated to its current 53-acre site north of Atlanta.
